Wrapit

On 4 August, Wrapit the wedding gift service company, ceased trading and was put into administration. All stores have been closed and all queries are being dealt with by Wrapit 's administrators KPMG.

The following advice has been issued for Wrapit's customers:

  • If the gift you have ordered is in Wrapit's warehouse and has been specifically allocated to you, it should still be delivered
  • If the gift you ordered is in the warehouse but has not been specifically allocated to you, it is unlikely to be delivered and you will not be able to get a refund directly from Wrapit
  • If you are in this situation, you paid by credit card and spent more than £100, you should contact your credit card company for a refund. If you paid by Visa debit card, you should contact your bank for a refund. In this case, you don't need to have spent more than £100, but you must make your claim within 120 days of buying the gift
  • If you spent less than £100 on your credit card, used Switch/Maestro, or paid by cheque, you will not be able to get a refund. You should formally register a claim as a creditor by writing to KPMG, giving details of the gift, where it was bought, and whether you want the gift or the money back. However, you should be aware that you are unlikely to get either the gift or your money back.

There is a helpline number that you can phone on 0844 770 1301. There is also more information on the Wrapit website at (New window) www.wrapit.co.uk.

The contact address for Wrapit if you want to register your claim with the administrators is:
