Your flight is overbooked
What you can do if the airline you're travelling with tells you that your flight has been overbooked and you are not allowed to travel. This is also known as being 'bumped off' the flight.

What you can do if you've booked flights and the airline goes out of business and compensation you may get depending on whether you booked on a package holiday, through a travel agent or directly with the airline.

If your luggage goes missing or is damaged during the flight you may be able to claim compensation from the airline. There are no set rules as to how the airline will deal with your missing or damaged luggage so you'll need to speak to them directly to find out what compensation you're entitled to.
