If I vote in the Scottish Parliament elections does this prevent me from voting in the UK general election?

This information applies to Scotland

No. The Scottish Parliament has responsibility for matters like education and social work that have been devolved to it. Many powers over Scotland are retained at Westminster and this means that Scottish people can vote in the general election.

For more information, see The Scottish Parliament.
