I'm a wheelchair user and my local library is really unhelpful about helping me to get books from the shelves.  Can I do something about this?

This information applies to England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland

It is unlawful for providers of services not to provide their service to people with disabilities. This would include not enabling people to access books.
