Parent's Guide to money is produced by the Financial Services Authority, the Government's financial watchdog. It aims to help parents and their families learn about money and become more confident about managing their finances. The guide is handed to expectant parents by their midwife.

  • planning ahead for a new family
  • benefits and tax credits for families
  • employment rights of parents
  • paying for childcare
  • tips about borrowing
  • useful local contacts.
