Advice in British Sign Language: Problems with school

This information applies to England and Wales

If you are deaf, you can get information in British Sign Language (BSL) about how to deal with problems your child may be having at school. You can get this information on the Community Legal Advice (CLA) website at: (New window) www.communitylegaladvice.org.uk.

You may also be able to get other help through the CLA website including:

  • call backs for advice. You can ask for an operator to call using typetalk or minicom
  • a directory of advisers that use BSL or have access to BSL interpreters
  • if you have access to a webcam, you can chat to a BSL specialist adviser about your legal problems.
