Letter cancelling a contract - off-premises sales - on or after 13 June 2014
Use this letter to cancel a contract you've made in your home or in the street. This is called an off-premises sale. When you buy something in an off-premises sale you have the right to be given a cancellation notice and a 14 day cooling-off period. This starts as soon as the sale is agreed with the trader and finishes at the end of the 14 days starting the day after you receive goods or both agree to the supply of a service. If you don't receive the details about your right to cancel until later, the 14 day period does not start until the day after you receive them.

Dear Sir or Madam,
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
On 03/06/2014 I entered into the following contract with your representative at my home: To trim the hedge in the front garden and cut the grass every month for a year.
I have now decided that I do not wish to proceed with the contract.
Under the above Regulations, I have 14 days from receiving the cancellation notice to cancel the contract.
I am therefore giving notice that I want to exercise this right to cancel my contract with you.
Please confirm within seven days of receiving this letter that the contract has been cancelled.
