Citizens Advice Leeds is working for a fairer society where people are free from the effects of poverty and injustice. We are a local charity helping over 30,000 people a year to resolve financial, housing, employment and other legal issues. We have reopened our face to face services but much of our advice will still be delivered by telephone and online channels. If you’d like to join our team helping service users find solutions to their problems, we have a number of opportunities open to qualified and trainee candidates who will bring enthusiasm, strong communication skills and a focus on delivering positive outcomes to their work.

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our Legal Advice Team. You will play a key role in supporting solicitors and caseworkers and ensure a smooth journey for clients accessing legal aid funding. You will have strong organisation and administration skills, and experience of working with a wide range of customers, clients and contacts in a busy service, producing accurate work and meeting deadlines. Flexibility and a positive approach to work are important attributes required for this role. Strong oral communication skills are essential as is the ability to listen, engage and empathise with potentially vulnerable clients.

Every local Citizens Advice is a registered charity. Different application procedures are adopted by individual local Citizens Advice. Contact the relevant one as outlined in the information about this role. You should not send an application form to national Citizens Advice.

All local Citizens Advice produce their own annual report, but you can find out more about the Citizens Advice network or download the latest national Citizens Advice annual report.
